This report and financial statements reflect the business of Menzies Hotels Limited the operating subsidiary of PMH Holdings Limited. Without doubt this has been a challenging year for growth in revenue and operating profit, highlights for the year under review include the following:
- Total revenues increased 6.9% year on year, with operating profit growing by 6.6%
- Year on year increases in energy costs and the estimated revenue impact of major building works at Stratford-upon-Avon amounted to £427,000 in additional costs and estimated lost operating profit
- RevPAR at £41.86 increased by 6% year on year
- The Group acquired the four-star, 141-bedroom Menzies Glasgow Hotel, (formerly the Best Western Milton Hotel & Spa) and the 134-bedroom Menzies Cambridge Hotel and Golf Club, (formerly the Cambridgeshire Moat House).
