Menzies Hotels Launches Two New Meeting Initiatives

Premier Meetings and Menzies Loyalty Points

Friday 25th May 2007

Menzies Hotels, one of the leading independent hotel groups with 15 four star hotels throughout the UK has this week launched two new meeting initiatives, Premier Meetings and Menzies Loyalty Points at a cost of over £100,000.

Commenting on the company’s new meeting package Crispin Scott, Sales and Marketing Director, said “The aim of Premier Meetings is quite simply to exceed the expectations of conference delegates using our hotels.  As well as increasing the specification of AV equipment supplied, for example a free data projector, we have also upgraded all the standard items and added some new items such as complimentary bacon rolls on arrival.

To coincide with the launch of Premier Meetings the company has also launched Menzies Loyalty Points a loyalty programme for conference organisers.  On all day meetings and residential conferences conference organisers can claim loyalty points which can then be redeemed against a wide selection of rewards including; gift vouchers, hotel vouchers, activity day vouchers and the company is also offering a cash back alternative.  Crispin Scott comments “The key to any successful loyalty programme is to make it as easy as possible to collect and redeem points and to offer a wide choice of rewards.  And that is exactly what we have done!  The value of the rewards is based on 1% of the conference spend so therefore a conference organiser spending £5,000 will be entitled to claim £50.00 worth of rewards.”

Both new meeting initiatives have been supported by new conference collateral throughout all the hotels and this week also saw the company launching its new website www.menzieshotels.co.uk.
